Hi, my name is Sam Brissette. I’ve been with Colter for nearly 7 years in total. I have always enjoyed working at Colter, and that’s because we strive to make everyday work better. I’ve never worked for a company where you have so much teamwork to make sure the job gets done and the sacrifices everyone makes to help when it’s needed.
On my days off, I enjoy spending time with my family. My fiancée, Sonoma, and I have one son, Maverick. We try to spend as much time together as possible. We enjoy riding dirt bikes, golfing, and traveling. On a typical day, you can find us outside! Whether it be riding bikes, going for an exploration walk, hanging by the water on the beach, or just out in the back yard. We love making memories.
I started with Colter in May, 2018 and it is a great place to work. It’s the only company I have ever worked for that truly cares about its employees. At Colter, I have never felt like a number or just an employee. This company was founded on principles and people with a hard work ethic. Work hard and keep your goals in sight; include those that help make your dream a success and always treat others as you want to be treated. When the founder of a company has the mindset of inclusion and success, it ensures a family-oriented workplace. Therefore, Colter has become my extended family, and I can’t imagine ever working anywhere else.
I enjoy my family, walking our dog Tank, my faith, reading, boating, fishing, golf, camping, gardening, and politics. I am married to my wonderful husband Terry, and we live in Minot.
My name is Ben Galang (legal name Reuben). I joined Colter Energy in late July of this year. I had never heard of well testing prior to joining Colter however I find the work interesting the more I learn about the process. I like that every shift is on a compressed workweek set up, allowing for more quality time on days off. It’s like having a mini-vacation after every shift. I am a red seal electrician by trade and enjoy working on home renovations in my spare time. I spend time on my Triumph Daytona in the summers planning several group rides with friends and family. In the winter, I enjoy working on motorcycles as I am also a trained motorcycle mechanic. Working at Colter allows me to spend quality time on my other hobbies while making a decent income!
